Machine Learning Interview Masterclass

This short course is designed for working professionals and students who are eager to excel in data science and machine learning engineer interviews but are unsure where to start. This course offers structured preparation material, hands-on practice, and mock interview sessions to help you gain confidence and master the interview process.

Over two weekends, you’ll engage in four comprehensive modules that combine theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, peer learning, and feedback sessions. By the end of the course, you’ll have a clear understanding of your strengths and areas for improvement, equipping you with the skills needed to ace your data science and machine learning engineer interviews.

This short course will be held in person. Although we will record the sessions for participants to review later, the short course is designed for live participation on the UW Seattle campus.

Participants

This short course is designed for working professionals and students with a machine learning background. Participants should have familiarity with machine learning concepts and basic natural language processing as well as proficiency in Python.

Registration and Cost

  • General/ Industry: $1100
  • Academic Rate: $500

The academic rate includes currently enrolled students, ECE PMP alumni, and those enrolled in the Machine Learning certificate.

Course Instructor

Karthik Mohan is an affiliate professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. He has extensive experience in machine learning from his Ph.D. studies to later on as Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon and Facebook. He has worked on a range of problems including recommender systems, anomaly detection, learning graphical models, optimization methods for machine learning and natural language generation for intelligent devices, which have led to multiple publications at top conferences.
